Overview

SmartPlant™ is an end-to-end product tracking system developed to address the increasing need for traceability in the global seafood supply chain, in the pursuit of ensuring quality control and reducing the environmental and social impact of the industry. 

Context

With the benefit of having two mid-sized seafood processing plants as development partners, I was able to develop this interface in a hands-on manner directly with our clients, acquiring real-time feedback on the system’s usability, ensuring plant managers ability to track product as it moves through each stage of the production process (Receiving, Grading & Packing).
